    Webmail

    Izmir University of Economics WebMail is an email system that allows you to access your institutional email account through an internet browser. You can access your emails from a computer, tablet, or phone without installing any additional application.

    Logging in to WebMail

    To log in to WebMail, you can use your institutional email address and account password.

    If multi factor authentication (MFA) is enabled on your account, you will need to enter the current 6-digit security code generated by your authenticator application in addition to your password.

    Secure Login with MFA

    MFA provides an additional layer of security for your email account. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or another compatible authenticator application can be used during setup.

    After the setup is completed, the current 6-digit code displayed in the authenticator application is used when logging in to WebMail.

    Important: Authentication codes are renewed at regular intervals. Always use the current code displayed in the application when logging in.

    Email and Calendar Features

    Through WebMail, you can:

    • Send and receive emails,

    • Organize your emails into folders,

    • Create email filters and forwarding rules,

    • Edit your email signature,

    • Manage your address book,

    • Create calendar events and appointments,

    • Manage and track your tasks.

    Mobile and Desktop Usage

    You can use your institutional email account not only through WebMail, but also with applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, and Mozilla Thunderbird.

    When setting up MFA-enabled accounts in these applications, an Application Code / Application Password created through WebMail may be required.

    Secure Usage

    For the security of your email account, do not share your password, MFA code, or application codes with anyone. Avoid leaving your account signed in on shared computers and be cautious when opening suspicious email links or attachments.
